Job Description At Crowe, you will deliver solutions to today’s complex business issues. Crowe’s accounting, consulting, and technology personnel are widely recognized for their in-depth expertise and commitment to measurable results that help clients build business value. As a Senior Manager within Crowe’s Operational Transaction Advisory (OTA) group, you’ll help lead our clients through the analysis, planning, and execution of complex Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and support both the due diligence process and the planning and execution of post‑close strategies.

Essential Responsibilities

Manage strategic relationships with Private Equity firms and corporate leaders to analyze and execute M&A deals.

Design and lead the Integration Management Office (IMO) for large, distributed teams across complex initiatives.

Engage with client teams to uncover synergy and functional area solutions and execute deal strategy.

Communicate professionally, including the creation of executive‑level deliverables to support client decision makers.

Practice Management

Assist in recruiting, training, and managing both experienced and campus‑hired consultants.

Provide project direction, oversight, and coaching to less‑seasoned consultants and subcontractors.

Develop methodologies to expand delivery capability and identify new solutions for prioritization and development.

Contribute information, insight, and recommendations to OTA strategic and business development plans.

Business Development

Support existing strategic relationships and eventually own de novo accounts through demonstrated expertise.

Lead industry‑specific internal and external knowledge‑sharing efforts to increase firm awareness.

Identify market trends and champion efforts to develop new products and services.

Required Skills

Consulting: Ability to function in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment with strong oral and written communication skills and superior problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Leadership: Ability to lead complex M&A projects and coach staff on integration methodologies, practices, and tools.

Project Management: Strong understanding of critical PM concepts such as activity plans, milestones, risk and issue tracking, and status reporting.

Business Development: Twenty percent of time spent on business development activities, including sales call initiation and proposal development.

Qualifications

15+ years of total relevant experience in the M&A lifecycle, including prior roles in PMI, M&A/Corporate Development, corporate strategy, or program management.

Functional expertise in IT plus one or more non‑IT areas (e.g., Operations, Sales, HR, or Finance).

Demonstrated technical project management skills with excellence in managing complex cross‑functional programs.

Willingness to travel extensively (80–100% at times); most work occurs at client site.

Outstanding communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and business impacts to diverse audiences, including executives.

Preferred: based in Chicago, New York, or Atlanta, but other locations considered.
