General Manager, Fleet Card – Christensen, Inc. Full-time, on-site (not remote). Base pay range: $150,000 - $175,000 per year. Relocation package offered.

SCOPE Directs all activity in the Fleet Card and Cardlock Division, reports to the Vice President of Fuels, and holds profit and loss responsibility. The role covers sales, operations, marketing, and team member development, driving both employee and customer Net Promoter Scores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Planning:

Direct short‑term and long‑range planning and budget development; establish performance goals; build benchmarks into the division’s scorecard; develop and execute business plans; translate divisional plans into team initiatives.

Operations:

Collaborate with divisional and cross‑functional leaders; ensure compliance with laws and regulations; manage sales volumes and product margins; drive systems and processes for accurate pricing, billing, and customer care; maintain Cardlock operations; coordinate marketing programs; oversee key supplier relationships; manage strategic relationships with key customers; orchestrate trade shows and events; drive growth and performance with suppliers; develop channel partners and programs.

Performance Measurements:

Track earning/profitability, total cost of risk, market share, sales results versus budget, customer and team member retention, operating expense, labor as a percentage of gross profit, completed performance assessments, collection percentage, key team member promotion rates.

Leadership & Team Reach:

Live core values; provide role clarity and support to team members; encourage career development; strengthen internal communications; groom sales proficiency; conduct 1:1 meetings and team huddles; oversee manager growth and development; lead strategic planning sessions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS in Business or related field; at least 10 years of industry experience; professional degree preferred.

Proven success in building and managing high‑performing teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong planning, execution, and change‑management skills.

Ability to handle stress and demonstrate responsibility.

Organizational proficiency and time‑management.

Coaching ability and strong interpersonal skills.

Basic systems and computer knowledge; analytical skillset.
