Product management at Amazon requires cross-functional leadership. As a portfolio owner, you will make data-driven product decisions and collaborate with business teams, leaders, and dedicated User Experience (UX) design and engineering teams. In our agile environment, you will:

Design and build integrated planning systems that handle complex workforce scenarios

Create intuitive interfaces that make sophisticated planning accessible to business leaders

Develop AI-driven recommendations to guide strategic workforce decisions

Partner with Finance, HR, and business teams to revolutionize workforce planning

About the team We’re building Amazon’s enterprise-wide workforce planning solution that transforms how leaders align their talent investments with business needs by creating a unified, trusted data platform. Our team integrates historically disconnected systems and data sources to enable leaders to model, plan, and evaluate workforce decisions in real-time, using embedded intelligence to guide them toward optimal talent decisions. Working closely with Finance, PXT, and business teams, we’re creating a comprehensive planning ecosystem that helps ensure Amazon has the right people in the right roles and locations to serve customers effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience technical product management

Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
