Base Pay Range $165,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr

About the Role This role will manage and enhance global EDI operations, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange while integrating EDI platforms with Microsoft Dynamics 365 via Azure Logic Apps. It will serve as the key liaison between internal teams and external partners to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across global supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the operations, maintenance, and strategic enhancement of the global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms and services.

Ensure continuous, reliable EDI transaction flows across all global trading partners, internal systems, and supply chain processes.

Drive integration initiatives between EDI platforms and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), primarily using Azure Logic Apps.

Act as the primary technology liaison for internal business stakeholders and external EDI solution providers.

Lead incident response, change management, and vendor coordination related to EDI services.

Champion best practices for EDI governance, system monitoring, and process optimization.

Collaborate cross-functionally with regional logistics, sales, and IT teams to support global operational excellence.

Support SFTP-based integrations and data exchange protocols.

Key Accountabilities Financial

Ensure platform cost-effectiveness through vendor management and integration efficiency.

Support budgeting for EDI services and platform enhancements.

Manage vendor service-level agreements (SLAs) to reduce operational costs.

Support cost recovery for EDI onboarding and transaction services.

Operations

Maintain stability and performance of EDI systems.

Manage day-to-day issue resolution and root cause analysis.

Oversee all EDI integration projects and trading partner onboarding.

Monitor EDI flows, proactively addressing errors or delays.

Support Azure Logic Apps integrations with D365 F&O.

Ensure secure data transmission over SFTP and API protocols.

Work with Operations team to mitigate back charges from trading partners.

Customer

Provide reliable and timely data exchange for internal and external stakeholders.

Support regional and global customer teams with integration needs.

Partner with vendors and trading partners for smooth onboarding and transactions.

Uphold service excellence in cross-border data and document handling.

People

Engage and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technology and business teams.

Support a high-performance culture through accountability and delivery.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment and promote EDI awareness.

Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for EDI-related initiatives.

Other

Monthly SteerCo reporting on key objectives.

Monthly reporting to the CTO & CIO on Key objectives, risks & blockers.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on EDI maps, flows, and integrations.

Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery for EDI systems.

Lead or contribute to audits, risk reviews, and compliance activities.

Stay current with EDI industry developments and standards.

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent

Demonstrated experience with EDI platforms, including SPS Commerce and DataMasons

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Proficient in Azure Logic Apps or equivalent integration platforms

Clear understanding of PII and GDPR data security and compliance.

Understanding of SFTP file transfer protocol and secure data exchange methods

ITIL or related Service Management qualification

Professional Experience

5+ years managing or supporting EDI systems in a global enterprise

Experience working with SPS Commerce and/or DataMasons platforms

Background in integrating EDI with ERP platforms.

Experience with Azure Logic Apps, API management, and related Azure services

Demonstrable ability to lead operations across complex EDI ecosystems

Proven track record of vendor and stakeholder engagement

Strong incident, change, and problem management skills

Knowledge of and experience working with X12 and EDIFACT formats.

Strong XML design and development skills (Instances and schemas).

Experience working in a wholesale distribution environment.

Knowledge of, and experience with, EDI document types 820, 836, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 870, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947

Background in integrating EDI platforms with Dynamics365 Finance & Operations

Familiarity with global trading compliance and EDI documentation standards
