Analytics Engineer - Finance at Lambda. Join our Data Platform team to design data pipelines, warehouse, catalog and BI tools, building a scalable BI layer during hyper‑growth. Location & Remote

San Francisco or San Jose, 4 days per week in office; one work‑from‑home day (Tuesday). Remote work beyond that is not available. Responsibilities

Manage public KPI data integrity, ensuring clean and approved KPIs in marketing materials, investor communications and public disclosures. Support ICFR: collaborate with internal audit to verify data flows, metrics and data integrity of key financial points. DBT / Data Catalog / Governance: become a subject‑matter expert in data models and clean data, supporting executive data sets and control environments. Data modeling: design star and snowflake schemas, data cubes and Kimball style models for efficient data warehousing. Data warehouse: contribute to a best‑in‑class cloud data warehouse in BigQuery. Leadership: mentor junior team members, manage KPI development, data testing, stakeholder management and project delivery. User training & enablement: develop and deliver training programs to empower users and promote self‑service BI. Analytics development: design and maintain dashboards, reports and analytics tools that support cross‑functional teams. Guide users to choose the right tools (Tableau, Sheets, operational systems, SQL, etc.) for each use case. Performance monitoring: continuously monitor and improve tool performance, scalability and reliability. Innovation: stay abreast of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions. Collaboration: partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Documentation: maintain comprehensive documentation of BI tools, processes and best practices. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance or related field; Master’s preferred. 7+ years of professional experience in BI, data analytics or analytics engineering. Experience working with IR, FP&A or executive teams on financial and operational KPIs. Experience with ITGCs (IT General Controls) and ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting). Advanced SQL skills and ability to mentor junior team members. Advanced data visualization and presentation skills. 2+ years of experience modeling in DBT and contributing to a GitHub repository. Excellent communication, problem‑solving and leadership abilities. Work well in a small team environment and can prioritize projects in an agile way and lead agile ceremonies. Benefits
