We are seeking a highly skilled

Cloud Network Engineer

to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior architects and engineers to design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure that supports both public and private cloud environments. You'll help drive simplicity, scalability, and automation across global data centers and cloud platforms.

What You’ll Do

Design, deploy, and maintain data center network infrastructure across global colocation sites.

Tackle complex technical challenges involving public cloud and on‑prem environments.

Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and identity gateways.

Automate network operations using tools like Ansible, Git, and SaltStack.

Monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Maintain accurate network documentation and adhere to change control policies.

Participate in on‑call rotation and perform maintenance during off‑peak hours.

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands‑on experience in network engineering and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; Perl, Ruby, Java, or C also acceptable).

Expertise in Cisco networking (IOS, IOS‑XE, NX‑OS) and switching/routing technologies.

Experience with firewalls and load balancers (F5, Avi, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto).

Familiarity with L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, EVPN).

Public cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Network automation tools (Ansible, Git, SaltStack, Cisco DCNM/NDFC).

Additional Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.

Passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Preferred Knowledge

Advanced firewall and load balancer expertise (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5, Avi).

VPN configuration and troubleshooting.

Deep understanding of routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching (STP, VTP, EtherChannel).

Familiarity with advanced technologies like MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, WAN optimization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $104,200 – $211,850 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short‑term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non‑sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short‑term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long‑term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
