Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a dynamic Land Development Department Manager to lead and elevate our Civil/Site Land Development team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll guide project direction, mentor top‑tier talent, and shape the future of our discipline, while driving impactful work across the region.

Responsibilities
Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products.
Establishes effective long‑range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team.
Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team.
Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals.
Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required.
Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects.
Reviews monthly productivity and man‑hour utilization‑rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed.
Assigns projects to staff and schedules work.
Evaluates employee performance in accordance with company policy.
Oversees assigned staff development and advancement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
12+ years in related field.
Professional licensure in area of expertise.
Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.
Strategic thinking.
Effective delegation skills.
Collaboration.
Ability to hold others accountable.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job‑related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
