Key Role Apply a bioinformatics lens to drive the implementation of the entire product management process from ideation to distribution for all product lines. Manage rollup of product line roadmap and cross product line planning activities. Use bioinformatics expertise to inform the long‑term vision and product‑line‑level strategy. Coordinate business and product strategies. Develop baseline KPI and OKRs for product line tracking. Develop and design new product lines based on data from research. Participate in agile ceremonies such as scrum of scrums and program increment (PI) planning, to identify and address product risks and coordinate across bioinformatics, engineering, data, and infrastructure teams. Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience working with functional and technical teams in a product manager role

Experience balancing client business requirements with the delivery team’s technical capacity

Experience facilitating technical, functional, and operational discussions to bridge client requirements with implementable solutions

Experience creating, managing, and delivering on product roadmaps through the product life cycle using Agile, SAFe, or Kanban methodologies

Experience using project management to create, implement, and track the delivery of product roadmaps

Experience with bioinformatics code development

Knowledge of front‑end or back‑end technologies used for application development, including SQL, NoSQL databases, or web‑based interactive user interfaces

Knowledge of cloud‑based systems development

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, CS, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, or a Public Health field>

Additional Qualifications

Experience as a product manager in a public health or life sciences setting

Experience modeling business processes and requirements, using structured tools and techniques, including use‑case scenarios, and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements

Experience with the systems development life cycle

Experience with systems and software engineering

Ability to motivate teams and clients to accomplish a common client vision

Ability to communicate technical and non‑technical information across various technical and functional stakeholders

Possession of excellent presentation, critical thinking, and analytics skills

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Doctorate degree in a Bioinformatics field

Agile or SAFe Certification

Vetting Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

Compensation Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
