Senior Product Manager – TurboTax & Credit Karma Cross Platform Growth Overview

The TurboTax Growth team is focused on our existing and prospective customers’ experience from landing pages through login and product selection. We create intuitive and engaging experiences powered by personalization algorithms that optimize the creative, offers, and onboarding flow for each visitor.

We’re seeking a product manager to deliver delightful experiences that grow our joint TurboTax / Credit Karma customer base. In this role, you will lead onboarding and shopping experiences, ensuring Credit Karma members can seamlessly transition to TurboTax and receive a hyper-personalized experience. You will use cutting edge AI and rich Credit Karma data to create dynamic onboarding experiences that meet members where they are in their filing journey and surface the right information, offers and next best action to get them started. This is a unique opportunity to shape the vision and lead the execution for a high‑impact, growth initiative.

Responsibilities

Define and champion a compelling multi‑year vision and strategy for a frictionless, hyper‑personalized onboarding experience to TurboTax for Credit Karma members

Drive the entire product lifecycle from discovery and experimentation to launch and iteration for onboarding experiences.

Act as the hub in a cross‑functional team of talented partners across Design, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, and Marketing.

Design, execute, and analyze experiments (A/B testing, user studies) to validate effectiveness and impact on key metrics like conversion and revenue; drive iteration based on results.

Translate complex customer needs, technical capabilities, and business opportunities into a clear, prioritized roadmap with measurable outcomes.

Undergraduate degree required in business, computer science, entrepreneurship, data science/analytics, finance, or similar; MBA is a plus (equivalent professional experience considered).

Qualifications

2+ years designing and delivering world‑class consumer‑facing software products

Solid track record of driving strategy and delivering products that utilize data‑driven methods and AI for personalization or dynamic user experiences at scale.

Expertise in personalization tactics, A/B testing methodologies, and data analysis for continuous iteration.

Strong technical acumen; able to closely engage with engineering and data science regarding system architecture, capabilities, data flows, APIs, and technical considerations.

Deep customer obsession and strong track record delivering customer value through product innovation inspired by direct customer observations and quantitative data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
