Senior Director of the Executive Office
Alexandria healthcare association (close to King Street Metro) is seeking experienced candidates for Senior Director of the Executive Office. NCPA fosters a dynamic and empowering work environment. We are a membership organization representing over 18,000 independent pharmacy owners, healthcare providers who are small business owners serving their communities.
The Senior Director of the Executive Office is a key member of the leadership team, providing strategic support to the CEO and Board of Directors. This role ensures alignment across departments, manages Executive Office operations, and oversees high-level meetings and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
: Drive cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
Board & Governance Support
: Serve as liaison to the Board; prepare agendas, briefing materials, and manage governance processes.
Meeting Oversight
: Lead planning and logistics for major association meetings, including the Annual Conference and Congressional Fly-In (budget > $4M).
Executive Operations
: Manage CEO’s calendar, senior leadership meetings, and administrative processes for efficiency.
HR Collaboration
: Partner with HR Director on personnel and benefits matters.
Communication
: Ensure clear, timely communication with internal teams, Board, and external stakeholders.
Position is a hybrid working schedule; in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, full time staff remote work Monday and Friday. Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements
Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and budgets efficiently and deliver effective results in a timely manner.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
At least 5-10 years experience working in an executive setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Parliamentary procedure experience a plus
Ability to travel
