VP of Electrical Fit Out: The mission of this role is to drive operational excellence across electrical fit-out operations by establishing robust installation strategies that consistently deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification. This position creates significant organizational value by implementing comprehensive quality assurance frameworks that minimize costly rework while ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The role maximizes project profitability through strategic cross-functional coordination that eliminates installation conflicts and optimizes workflow efficiency across construction, mechanical, and controls teams. By developing high-performing operations teams and establishing rigorous commissioning procedures, this position directly impacts customer satisfaction, reduces warranty exposure, and drives sustainable revenue growth from electrical operations while maintaining the safety standards critical to manufacturing environments.

Develop quality assurance frameworks for electrical installations that maintain compliance with applicable codes, industry standards and safety regulations while minimizing rework and defects. On average this should be about 20% of your time. Among other things this means we expect you to:
Verify installer certifications meet project specification requirements.
Execute random quality audits during active installation work.
Generate quality metrics reports for management review and trend analysis.
Establish commissioning and testing procedures that verify electrical system performance meets operational requirements before handover, ensuring customer satisfaction and reducing warranty issues.
On average this should be about 15% of your time. Among other things this means we expect you to:
Resolve punch list items before final system acceptance.
Conduct operator training sessions on installed electrical systems.
Develop cross-functional coordination processes with construction, mechanical, and controls teams that eliminate conflicts and optimize installation sequences for improved project efficiency.
Participate in weekly trade coordination meetings to align work schedules.
Negotiate workspace access agreements with other trade contractors.
Communicate material delivery requirements to logistics coordinators.
Escalate resource conflicts to project management for resolution.
Share installation progress updates through established reporting channels.
Minimum Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in low – med voltage system installation and design.
10 years of experience in field operations, strategic delivery, or project management, preferably in data centers, infrastructure, or engineered solutions.
Proven track record in regional operations leadership, logistics planning, and cross-functional delivery.
Strong background in customer-facing project oversight, including demos, facility tours, and strategic client engagements.
Ability to act as a senior escalation point and provide executive-level leadership under pressure.
Experience driving operational improvements, efficiencies, and scalability across multiple regions.
Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to align diverse business units toward shared outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced certification preferred. (This would be a nice to have but a certain level of field experience might negate the need)
Electrical Masters licensure preferred
Data center construction experience preferred
