Job Overview Account Director
The ideal applicant will blur left-brain, analytical and data-centric understanding with a passion for creativity, culture, and consumer behavior. Working closely with all agency disciplines—including brand strategy, media and data science, public relations, creative, design, project management, and technology—you will help set a vision and a course of action to ensure Colle McVoy continues to build innovative, award-winning brand experiences that connect with today’s elusive consumer.Asan Account Director, you will successfully build relationships and inspire clients and team members to create work that transforms behaviors, people and even entire communities. Your positive energy and innovative thinking should be contagious and your leadership second to none. Candidates should bring a strong track record of growing and leading successful teams coupled with a passion for chasing 'what’s next' in the ever-evolving marketing communications landscape, while managing integrated teams.You are responsible for the overall performance of the agency’s partnership and performance to drive growth for our clients’ profitably.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire cross-functional, integrated agency teams
Foster and grow strong agency/client relationships and manage expectations while delivering work that is strategically sound, creatively driven, on time, on budget, flawlessly executed and delivers business results
Familiar with clients’ businesses, competition and marketing objectives in order to clearly define business problems and apply insights across channels
Collaboratorto great work and master of knowing how to sell it
Nurture teamwork and mentorship work environment for account management team to ensure depth of client/industry knowledge and agency process
Persuasive and effective communicator; skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution
Develop organic growth opportunities
Drive client growth and profitability and responsible for agency resource allocation and profitability on accounts
Demonstrated ability to work within regulated industries or categories with a technical or scientific foundation is a plus
Required Skills
Resourceful with strong management skills and demonstrated team-leadership
Experience with building and leading integrated teams and excels at internal and external relationships
Visionary, strategic, curious with strong business acumen and attention to detail
Deep understanding of tech, data, services, brand, multi-faceted retail and trade components
Demonstrates initiative, takes actions to drive results
Effective listener and communicator (written, oral and presentation)
Ability to inspire others to drive change
Directly managed integrated teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
8 to 10 years of agency or relevant experience (multi-faceted, multi-million gross income accounts)
CPG experience is a plus
Experience in animal health, healthcare, or similarly complex categories is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to travel as needed
At the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness options, agency perks, and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
