The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Norton Shores region seeking Recruiters. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for a range of manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and engineering.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to offer acceptance for plant-based positions.
- Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct interviews, assess technical skills, and evaluate cultural fit for a demanding production environment.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and drug screens, relevant to industrial settings.
- Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate data and ensure compliance with hiring regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing or industrial roles (e.g., production, engineering, quality, maintenance).
- Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for specialized technical and production positions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and industry talent pools.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, engineering, or production leadership roles.
- Familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG).
