Summary: Ref : C-DON-9006752 Profession: Director of Nursing Job Type: Contract/Non-Travel Location: Parkersburg, WV Start Date: ASAP Duration: 8 weeks Schedule: , 07:00 AM-03:30 PM Rate: Local: $2,636/40-hours Requirements: Valid and active Registered Nurse State license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree. Previous nursing leadership experience, preferably in a Director of Nursing role. BLS certification Responsibilities: Provide effective guidance, creating a collaborative and positive work atmosphere for nursing personnel. Manage and coordinate patient care, upholding established protocols and ensuring top-quality service. Recruit, train, and oversee nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Ensure quality assurance by maintaining regulatory compliance, infection control, and patient safety. Create and implement educational programs and training to enhance nursing staff skills and knowledge. Efficiently manage the nursing department budget, optimizing resources without compromising care quality. Ensure nursing staff complies with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Champion patients' needs, addressing concerns to promote patient-centered care. Collaborate with quality improvement teams to pinpoint trends and areas for patient care enhancement. Maintain precise and timely records of patient care, assessments, and departmental activities. Contribute to strategic plans and initiatives aimed at improving nursing services.
