Job Purpose
As a Welding Supervisor, you will oversee welding operations within a manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety and quality of welding work, schedule and direct work activities, and manage a team of welders.
Responsibilities
Oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements
Supervise and manage a team of welders, providing guidance and feedback as needed
Schedule and coordinate welding work based on project timelines and demands
Perform quality control checks on welding work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
Monitor inventory of welding consumables and equipment, and order replacements when necessary
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, and produce reports as needed
Education & Experience
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
3 years of experience as a Welding Supervisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Certification in welding or related field preferred

Salary Range (annual): $80,000 - $99,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
