Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Payable Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles and have a strong interest in developing a career in accounting. This role will assist in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and AP month-end close activities.
Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies Review, verify, and reconcile expense reports for compliance Maintain and update vendor records, including contact and payment information Support AP month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations Assist in responding to audit inquiries and documentation requests Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required) Prior accounting internship or relevant experience required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems Excellent communication and organizational skills
