Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

STAFFING CONSULTANT

FINDING PEOPLE FOR JOBS, AND JOBS FOR PEOPLE.

As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This is a full‑cycle recruiting role. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruiting process. You will engage in conversations with job seekers via phone, email, or in‑person. You will build strong relationships by coaching them throughout the job search process—resume editing, interview pointers, post‑interview breakdown, and acceptance of a new position. When not sourcing, you will meet with your team to discuss open positions, post job ads, and learn to use online sourcing tools and resources.

To be successful, you must be resourceful, have strong initiative, and be a fantastic judge of character. Beacon Hill relies on you to not only find good candidates but to select them from among many vying for opportunities and match them with the right companies, jobs, and work environments. You must look beyond resumes and read people.

Your Day:

  • Proactive cold‑calling to identify prospective candidates.
  • Identify prospective candidates via job board tools, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
  • Interview prospective candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews—review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews.
  • Deliver the good news—extend job offers and manage the offer process.
  • Reach out to candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything they need.

You'll Need:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A love of working with people.
  • A tenacious degree of self‑motivation—making 100 calls and then the 101st.
  • Leadership skills and a competitive drive.
  • Discernment and independent judgment about businesses and people.
  • An incessant drive to meet goals and metrics.
