As an advanced practice provider, you?ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. The job description of a PA in this setting includes administering the intravenous ketamine treatment plan as a part of the multi-modal therapy for psychiatric disorders . You?ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting emotional well-being and helping people lead mentally and physically healthy lives. As a Physician Assistant, you?ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Job Details Part time 8 hour shifts, guaranteed Three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday $70/hour; negotiable with experience W-2 position potential for expansion to 5 days per week; Full time equivalent of $140K per year Valid Physician Assistant license DEA license a bonus, otherwise will have to apply Responsibilities Examine patients and their medical records Diagnose mental health conditions and illnesses Maintain accurate records and schedules Educate patients and their family members Oversee patients? treatment plan Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge Skills Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Experience with difficult intravenous access is a plus but not required Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
