Job Summary:
Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Qualified Candidates: Acute care certified or experienced PA
At least 12 months ICU experience preferred
APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation.
Night Shift Only
12-hour shifts covering a 30-bed medical/surgical ICU and 12-bed CV ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults, Average Daily Census 20-25 patients
Structure:1 MD & 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 MD & 1 APP (7 pm to 7 am)
Busy program with high acuity patient population
Ability to work Full Time, 13 shifts per month
Teaching Facility with GME program
