Permanent Child Psychiatrist Job - New York City Welcome to an exciting opportunity in the heart of New York City! Jackson + Coker is looking for a passionate Child Psychiatrist to join our team. This role offers a unique blend of clinical work and leadership in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a touch of telehealth to keep things interesting.
Position Overview: In this role, you'll spend 40% of your time providing direct clinical care to youth facing mental health challenges. The remaining 60% will involve supervisory and managerial duties, supporting psychiatric providers, therapists, and program directors working with high-risk youth.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct clinical care for youth with a focus on mental health challenges
Supervision and leadership over various youth programs
Participation in supervision sessions and incident review committees
Collaboration with the agency's central Psychiatric Services team
Temporary coverage for clinical programs with provider vacancies
Qualifications:
Active DEA and New York State License as a psychiatrist
Board Certified or Board Eligible in child psychiatry
Demonstrated experience in youth psychiatric care
Comfort supervising newly graduated NPPs
Willingness to travel to sites across New York City
