Per Diem Physician Assistant - PA - Interventional Cardiology
NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital provides world-renowned interventional cardiovascular care for all patients with heart diseases and disorder. Our cardiac service brings together a multi-disciplinary panel of specialists who provide a range of services from screening and diagnostic procedures to emergency and ongoing treatment. Our interventional cardiology PAs provide pre/post-op evaluation for cath lab and electrophysiology, inpatient consults and follow up including device interrogation, and pre-arrival telehealth evaluations.
The department seeks per diem PAs for weekday shifts only, 13-hour shifts, Monday ? Friday, for at least 2-3 shifts per month.
Preferred Criteria Must have cath lab or EP lab experience
Required Criteria Bachelor?s or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies NYS PA Licensure Current NCCPA Certification ACLS/BLS NYS Infection Control certification DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
