Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare, the leading provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas, is expanding and looking for a lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant to become part of our established and collaborative team in San Antonio, TX.

Job details: Manage and coordinate the healthcare of patients in collaboration with cardiologist

Achieve thorough competency in all aspects of stress testing

Document, maintain, and review patient records, charts, and other relevant information in the EMR system

In collaboration with leadership, develop new programs to optimize clinical care and enable APP development

Qualified Candidates: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Minimum of 5 years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical experience

At least 3 years of leadership experience (5 years preferred) while maintaining an active patient care practice

Eligible for a Texas license

Master?s Degree in Nursing (DNP preferred) or Master?s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related discipline

Preferred experience in cardiology practice and cardiac inpatient care

Preferred in large multisite practice management

Preferred experience in managing advanced practice provider leadership or clinical practice management
