Supervising Orthopedic Surgeon Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and motivated
Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C)
to join our dynamic orthopedic team. The PA will work collaboratively with our orthopedic surgeons and medical staff to provide exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The role involves clinical assessment, pre- and post-operative care, surgical first assist, and orthopedic injuries and disorders management. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Perform joint injections, trigger point injections, and PRP injections. Provide patient education on treatment plans, procedures, rehabilitation, and recovery. Administrative & Collaborative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems. Collaborate with physical therapists, radiologists, and primary care providers. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the
NCCPA . Valid and unrestricted
state PA license . BLS and ACLS
certification required;
ATLS
preferred. Minimum
1?2 years of orthopedic experience
preferred (new grads with strong surgical rotations may be considered). Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with EMR systems. Proficiency in joint injections. Familiarity with sports medicine, trauma, or total joint surgery a plus.
