Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PA to join our total joint orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients. This role requires a PA who is interested in orthopedic procedures and has a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsibilities Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions especially in hip and knee. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Conduct surgical procedures as necessary, including various injections, wound closures, etc. Manage pain management strategies for patients undergoing orthopedic treatment. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in data collection for ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives. Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options. Stay current with advancements in orthopedic practices and technologies. Requirements PA Medical degree from an accredited institution. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
