part-time opportunit y in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? TeamHealth is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our hospital medicine team at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina.
Haywood Regional features 154 hospital beds with 12 ICU beds and an American College of Cardiology-accredited chest pain center.
Enjoy working in the heart of the Appalachian Trail at this Duke Lifepoint hospital located just
30 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina .
As a part-time advanced practice clinician (APC) in this facility, you should be comfortable managing patients in the ICU and responding to codes and rapid responses. If you have prior inpatient or hospital medicine experience as an advanced practice clinician, you are just the candidate we are looking for!
ALCS/BLS certifications, along with a North Carolina license and DEA are required.

Haywood Regional Medical Center is located in Haywood County and licensed for 154 beds. The hospital was created in 1927 as the first county hospital in North Carolina. Later rebuilding in 1978 to our new location in Clyde. Continuing a long-standing tradition of excellence, Haywood Regional Medical Center offers a comprehensive array of services, including orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency medicine, behavioral health, and includes 11 multi-specialty physician clinics. The campus, located in Clyde, is also home to the 54,000 square foot Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center, and the 44,000 square foot Outpatient Care Center (includes the outpatient surgery center, laboratory, imaging center and physician practices). Haywood Regional Medical Center also operates two urgent care centers in the county, in Hazelwood and Canton.
