Physician Assistant (PA)
to join our
Inpatient Hospitalist Team
at
Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, TX . The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, work independently with attending physician support, and deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative team setting. Schedule & Work Model Shifts:
14 per month Hours:
7:00 PM ? 7:00 AM (night shifts) Schedule:
Week-on / Week-off rotation (7 nights on, 7 nights off) Responsibilities Manage
up to 10 admissions per shift , ensuring timely and evidence-based care. Provide
cross-coverage
for existing inpatients and respond to nursing pages during the night shift. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and formulation of differential diagnoses and management plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests; initiate appropriate treatments and interventions. Communicate effectively with consulting physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services. Document all encounters in the hospital EMR promptly and accurately. Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and handoff communication to day teams. Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant
in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure). NCCPA certification
required. Minimum of
1 year of inpatient or hospitalist experience
preferred (new graduates with strong clinical background will be considered). Strong clinical judgment, organization, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital-based team.
