Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
to join our thriving practice. We're a full-scope family medicine clinic committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered, and
evidence-based care
to San Antonio's diverse community. About the Role As an
NP or PA
with North San Antonio Family Medicine, you'll deliver high-quality primary care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Your role will involve managing
your own dedicated patient panel
and providing crucial
coverage for our physician's patients , ensuring seamless continuity of care. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting well-child visits, annual physicals, and well-woman exams. Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries. Chronic disease management . Providing comprehensive and sensitive care to transgender patients. Performing in-office procedures as appropriate to your scope of practice. Collaborating with our physician, working independently in most scenarios while knowing when to seek physician consultation or transfer care for complex cases. Upholding the highest standards of care, informed by current medical evidence. What We're Looking For We're seeking an
NP or PA
who is passionate about family medicine and committed to serving a diverse patient population while maintaining high standards of care. Qualifications: Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in Texas. Board Certification (NP) or NCCPA Certification (PA). DEA registration and unrestricted ability to prescribe in the state of Texas. Family medicine experience is preferred, but highly motivated new graduates with relevant clinical rotations will be considered. We are looking for candidates with
experience working with patients of all ages. A commitment to continuous learning and
evidence-based clinical decision-making . Demonstrated comfort and experience working with a
diverse patient base , including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds and the
