Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Lobby Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real‑estate and more. This part‑time position allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol commercial real‑estate locations, deterring security‑related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real‑estate location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor premises for unusual activity and report any security‑related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed. Complete required reports and documentation related to security‑related incidents and daily activities. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
