Job Description: Die SetterLocation: Milan, MIPay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourExpected Hours: 40 - 50 per weekAn established automotive supplier in Milan, MI, with operations in Roseville, MI, and Monterrey, MX, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Die Setter. If you are ready to take the next step in your career and bring your skills to a company that values commitment and reliability, apply today!Training Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) for the first two weeks before transferring to the 2nd shift (3:30 pm - Midnight).Key Responsibilities:Die Setting and Machine Operation: Set up and install dies into machines, adjust machine settings, and operate machinery to ensure proper specifications and high-quality output.Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to meet the stringent quality standards demanded by our customers.Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation, including Standard Work Instructions and Quality checks.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with dies and machinery to minimize downtime.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Federal and State Safety Regulations and company policies.Job Requirements:Experience: Proficient in pressroom operations, die setting, and operation of single hit, progressive, and transfer dies.Technical Skills: Skilled in Smart Pack and Feeder programming, PLCs, and familiar with Plex ERP software.Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Reliability: Must be dependable, committed to scheduled shifts, and willing to work overtime as needed.Additional Experience Required:Forklift and Crane operationLock Out Tag Out proceduresTransfer dies and finger adjustments programming (Atlas, Wayne Trail)Training in SMEDPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift/move up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of handsSpecific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and depth perceptionBenefits:401(k) with matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offLife insuranceEmployee assistance programOn-the-job training and moreSchedule: 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed.
