Our Opportunity
As a Senior Product Manager at Snyk, you will be responsible for leading Snyks IDE and CLI experiences, setting their longterm strategy based on market trends, developer needs, and deep subjectmatter expertise. You will consistently demonstrate measurable impact by delivering complex initiatives and refining business cases that open new revenue opportunities and expand our customer base.
Youll Spend Your Time
- Working closely with Engineering and Product peers to identify key opportunities for an engaging local developer experience.
- Designing and defining detailed specifications for technical and functional requirements.
- Defining product metrics to measure success and make datadriven decisions.
- Communicating a vision for the next generation of local development integrations.
- Collecting and leveraging customer feedback, user research, and data to determine new expansion areas.
- Presenting Snyks roadmap to strategic prospects and customers.
- Communicating team work internally and externally, including to executive leadership, customers, and market analysts.
You Should Apply If You
- Are motivated by delighting developers and have empathy for their challenges, championing the voice of the customer.
- Have experience building solutions that fit into multiple segments of the customers software development lifecycle.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy helping others succeed.
- Communicate proactively and clearly, and enjoy working in highly crossfunctional, distributed product teams.
- Have strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytics skills.
- Are familiar with agile software development practices, have a technical background, or have experience targeting the developer persona.
Wed especially love to hear from you if you
- Have prior software development experience.
- Have domain expertise in cybersecurity or developer tools.
- Have experience directing or developing IDE Plugins or Commandline Interfaces.
- Have experience working with data and enjoy building prototypes.
- Have experience with enterprise, government, or regulated industriesunderstanding those users unique challenges.
- Have familiarity with Application Security, DevSecOps, and testing tools (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST).
