Chief Financial Officer - New Haven, CT
Salary: Up to $175K Onsite, New Haven

Key Responsibilities - Chief Financial Officer
Serve on the Executive Team; partner closely with the CEO, COO, and Controller
Communicate effectively with staff and volunteer board members
Oversee all financial operations across skilled nursing, residential care, adult day center, transportation, and assisted living
Lead accounting functions including purchasing, tax, long-range planning, real estate, AP/AR, payroll, resident trust work, and the general ledger
Monitor and analyze Medicare/Medicaid payor mix to maximize financial outcomes
Produce financial statements and provide guidance for budgeting and forecastingAttend board meetings and sub-committee sessions; communicate financials clearly
Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and all filing deadlines are met
Preferred Qualifications - Chief Financial Officer
Healthcare experience is required , ideally in nonprofit or hospital settings
Strong experience with
Medicare/Medicaid
and reimbursement structures
Nonprofit background and
grant
experience strongly preferred
Ability to support leadership initiatives and help strengthen the organization's revenue pipeline
Someone who can
inspire change
and adapt to evolving priorities
