Ongoing Cardiology coverage needed in Northern California with light call and scenic lakeside setting.
Highlights Weekday-only schedule; no weekends 1:2 call rotation; phone consults only, rare call-backs California license not required to start; will wait Option to convert to permanent after 6 months
Practice Setting 25-bed critical access hospital near Clear Lake Mix of clinic and inpatient cardiology Supported by RNs, MAs, echo techs, and hospitalists Epic EMR
Schedule Monday to Friday, 8a-5p Call is phone-based and infrequent Long-term locums; ideal for providers open to consistent coverage
Cases and Procedures General cardiology, CHF, arrhythmia, HTN ECHO reads, TEE, pacemaker supervision (no implants) 19 patients/day; 25% inpatient volume
Requirements Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) ACLS, BLS, DEA required California license or IMLC; or willingness to obtain
