Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to design and maintain high-quality conceptual, logical, and physical data models. The role focuses on 3NF and canonical data modeling to support enterprise applications and analytics.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models Define data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data models Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems Document data models, metadata, data flows, and data dictionaries Collaborate with development teams and participate in model reviews Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 4+ years of hands-on data modeling experience Strong experience with 3NF and/or canonical data models Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio) Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks preferred) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
