Mammography Technologist

Part‑time (negotiable days)
Signing Bonus:
$5,000 ($2,500 upon hire, $2,500 after 6 months). Must be a Certified Mammography Technician to receive full bonus.
Pay:
$38 – $50 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Daily quality control functions per MQSA recommendations.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
What You Will Do
Optimize and implement protocols to enhance image quality.
Prepare patients for exams: pre‑screening, history forms, gowning.
Use proper techniques and positioning for safe, timely, high‑quality diagnostic exams.
Obtain consents, document in EMR, manage coding and charging.
Maintain QC program for ACR.
Practice safety procedures: protective equipment, cleaning, sterile techniques.
Assist in advanced mammography procedures.
Place/remove IVs when necessary.
Ensure compliance with mammogram ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements.
Education & Experience
Certified by ARRT or American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists, or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures in Utah.
40 hours of mammography training & 25 supervised mammography exams (direct supervision by MQSA qualified individual).
8 hours of training on a mammographic modality.
Experience with breast ultrasound or willingness to learn breast ultrasound.
Proficiency on all equipment.
BLS certification.
