Interventional Cardiology PA/APRN - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN
Location: 80 Seymour Street (10008) – Hartford, CT. The position is part of the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute, a national leader in advancing cardiac care.
Role Scope This role includes inpatient and outpatient complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures. Responsibilities include pre‑ and post‑care for ACS, CHF, PAD, TAVR, and related populations. The app will engage in independent decision making, manage procedure‑related issues, and collaborate with consultants and specialists to deliver patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities
Conduct inpatient and outpatient complex cardiology consultations.
Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure care for ACS, CHF, PAD, TAVR, etc.
Engage in independent decision making and manage procedure‑related issues.
Collaborate with consultants, specialists, and the patient care team to deliver patient‑centered care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut.
National Board Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred.
Cardiology experience strongly preferred.
