Job Description
Supervise assigned manufacturing operations—include processing source materials, equipment and component preparation, sterilization, aseptic filtration, filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging. Report operational status daily to management and peers.
Review and update manufacturing documentation for the area.
Provide cGMP, job‑task, and safety training for personnel.
Generate, update, and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures and BPRs. Ensure cGMP compliance through observation, training, and auditing.
Supervise hourly employee performance; ensure SOP, cGMP, and safety compliance.
Investigate deviations, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Order production supplies and equipment.
Prepare production‑monitoring reports; analyze product cost and budgeting.
Interview new employees, coach and counsel personnel, conduct evaluations, set objectives, and assist in disciplinary action.
Analyze and recommend capital expenditures and efficiency improvements.
Coordinate with support departments (Quality Assurance, Maintenance, PIC, etc.) to resolve production line issues promptly.
Schedule process and equipment validation.
Maintain environmental monitoring limits in all areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or related hard science strongly preferred.
2+ years of progressive responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisor experience strongly preferred.
Supervisor II Additional Requirements
2+ years of supervisory experience required.
2+ years of experience in aseptic areas strongly preferred.
Shift & Compensation Shift:
Weekend Nights, Friday‑Sunday E/O, Thursday 6 pm‑6 am.
Pay:
Supervisor I: $81,825.00 – $130,900 per year.
Supervisor II: $89,250.00 – $142,800 per year.
Shift differential available; determined by hours worked.
