What You’ll Be Doing:
Reviewing architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Conducting site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed
Collaborating with fabrication and field teams to validate scope and constructability
Maintaining and updating estimating databases and historical cost records
Assisting in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Supporting contract negotiations and change order pricing
What You Bring to the Table:
3+ years of estimating experience in steel erection and/or fabrication
Strong understanding of structural steel components, erection methods, and industry standards
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Tekla EPM, Bluebeam, MS Excel)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines
