Role Overview : We’re seeking a detail-oriented QA TestEngineerto support Google Distributed Cloud Labs. This role is pivotal in validating the reliability, performance, and compatibility of networking and server infrastructure used to deploy Google Cloud workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Execute system-level and functional tests to ensure hardware/software performance
Collaborate on integration testing across infrastructure components
Test and troubleshoot network configurations and serial console connections
Develop and maintain automated test scripts
Validate device compatibility across platforms
Document test results and resolutions clearly
Work cross-functionally to investigate issues and support lab operations
Core Requirements
10 years of QA testing experience, ideally in infrastructure/hardware environments
Strong grasp of system, functional, and integration testing methodologies
Experience with network protocols and testing tools
Proficiency in automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Bash)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Background in device-level testing and compatibility validation
Exposure to cloud infrastructure or data center environments
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
