Job Title: Power Platform Sr. Developer
Location: Woodland TX
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer to work onsite and take end-to-end ownership of solution design, development, and stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in the Power Platform ecosystemcovering PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePointwith the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, performant, and user-friendly solutions. In addition to technical delivery, the role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows, and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven) applications with responsive UI, efficient data handling, and adherence to best practices. Build custom components and reusable PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls. Design and optimize Power Automate cloud flows, including HTTP triggers, third-party API integrations, concurrency techniques, and advanced error handling. Work with SharePoint for document storage, site-level security, and permissions management. Design scalable Dataverse schemas with optimized relationships, appropriate column types, and robust role-based security. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and refine requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business processes and desired outcomes. Participate in use case presentations, design reviews, technical code reviews, and UAT sessions to ensure solution quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing Power Platform applications and flows. Document solutions, deliver user training, and support solution adoption across business units.
Technical Skills (Core Focus) PowerApps: Canvas apps, model-driven apps, responsive UI design, reusable component development, PCF, large dataset optimization, and error handling. Power Automate: Cloud flows, triggers, concurrency control, error handling, HTTP connectors, API integrations, and JSON data manipulation. SharePoint: Document storage integration, security, and site privilege management. Dataverse: Database design, relationships, optimized schema, and role-based security configuration. Collaboration & Soft Skills Strong communication and analytical skills to bridge business needs and technical implementation. Proven experience engaging with stakeholders for requirement gathering and alignment. Ability to operate independently in an onsite environment while coordinating with offshore and cross-functional teams.
Good to Have Experience with ServiceNow for ticket management. Exposure to enterprise middleware platforms and ERP systems for system integrations. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for integrations or process extensions. Experience with Copilot Studio and conversational automation use cases.
