Job Overview The NICE CXone Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining NICE InContact contact center solutions. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, contact center technologies, automation, AI/NLU, and omnichannel CRM integrations to deliver reliable and high-performance customer experience platforms.
Core Responsibilities Architect, design, and maintain NICE InContact solutions including IVR, ACD, campaigns, teams, and routing strategies Build and automate call center workflows, call flows, prompts, and scripts Ensure compliance with SDLC processes for development and deployments Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, and ETL jobs for system integrations Automate user provisioning, skill assignments, and policy management Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance Implement observability, logging, and proactive alerting for critical systems Technical Expertise Required Cloud & Infrastructure Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including exposure to Generative LLM technologies Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as WebRTC for voice and video Contact Center Technologies NICE InContact (CXone) platform including IVR, ACD, skills, campaigns, and Workforce Management Nexidia Speech Analytics implementation and optimization Workforce Management (WFM) including scheduling, forecasting, and intraday adjustments Quality Management experience, including tools such as Quality Central AI & NLU Natural Language Understanding (NLU), specifically Ophelia Conversational AI and ASR tuning to enhance customer experience CRM & Omnichannel Integration with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics Development of Click-to-Call and Chat channels to support omnichannel experiences Development Skills Full-stack development experience (frontend and backend) Strong knowledge of SQL databases and data modeling Experience using Postman for API testing and validation
