Attributes:
Maintain a godly life and possess the quality of character that becomes a ministry leader.
Adhere to the Reformed faith, as summarized in the Westminster Confession or 1689 London Baptist Confession.
Possess competency in apologetics and be able to represent all approaches, including presuppositional and classical methods.
Be able to relate to students and faculty easily in small group studies, outreach activities, and other venues of campus or church life.
Demonstrate strong communication and relational skills.
Duties:
Organize and lead regular small group meetings with the student body to study issues of apologetics.
Coordinate weekly “tabling” outreach and engage students through the use of apologetics at the table events.
Organize and lead larger apologetics events on campus, such as debates, guest speakers, and large venue presentations.
Coordinate with other Ratio Christi directors in the region for events being held at other college campuses.
Recruit new students, regularly meet with students for personal discipleship, support & assist the Ratio Christi student officers, and provide pastoral care to students when needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with university faculty and administration.
Possible additional opportunity: Assist with pastoral duties at Hopewell Church, which may include leading worship, occasional preaching / teaching, organizing social media campaigns, outreach events, and church conferences, and performing administrative duties.
Compensation: The Ratio Christi Director will be responsible for raising his own support. The candidate will work through the leadership of Hopewell Church and/or Ratio Christi to determine his salary, manage funds, and receive regular wage distributions.
Start Date: Anytime after March 2025
