We are seeking a Senior Administrator with strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure and Red Heap OpenShift/Kubernetes to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise systems in a secure federal environment. The ideal candidate has a deep background in cloud administration, DevSecOps, automation, and container orchestration. Experience with IBM Maximo is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement secure enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
Build, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure and cloud‑native applications.
Support and enhance containerised applications using OpenShift, Kubernetes, ACR, and Docker.
Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline support and automation.
Utilise IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure‑native equivalents to manage cloud environments.
Perform system troubleshooting, upgrades, configuration, and performance optimisation.
Document technical solutions, system designs, and operational procedures.
Collaborate closely with security, engineering, and project management teams to ensure compliant and effective cloud solutions.
Optional: Support and integrate IBM Maximo or other EAM/CMMS platforms when needed – experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Qualifications
Ship & Active Secret Clearance.
Proven experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure App Services, Azure VMs, Azure DevOps, Azure Infrastructure).
Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Heap OpenShift.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud security best practices.
Experience with automation or IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines).
Highly Desired
Experience with Azure Container Registry, Docker, or other container technologies.
Familiarity with authentication/security protocols such as Okta, Kerberos, or SPNEGO.
Working knowledge of Linux (RHEL preferred).
Red Heap OpenShift certifications or Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104).
Nice to Have (Optional)
Experience with IBM Maximo, MAS 9, or other Enterprise Asset Management systems.
Experience with CMMS environments or integration frameworks.
