Pay Rate: $22.50 or $23.50 if MAP certified This role involves providing direct support or services with a higher level of skill or experience, contributing to the care and support of service recipients while maintaining quality, service excellence, and ethical standards. The role may include training or supervising direct support employees and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans aligned with each person's goals and needs. Responsibilities

Demonstrate good communication skills and sound professional judgment. Assist the Residence Director with the oversight of daily operations of the assigned residence, including: Direct Care a. Ensure all individuals are treated with respect, dignity, and support to maximize control over routines and activities. b. Teach, assist, and support individuals in learning and practicing skills to enhance their social roles. c. Support existing relationships and help expand individuals' networks. d. Promote exploration and expression of community interests. e. Participate in individual advocacy systems. f. Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of individuals' bedrooms. g. Maintain regular contact with families/guardians, provide updates, and act as a liaison. h. Maintain contact with work program staff. i. Assist with household shopping and maintenance, promoting increasing independence. Staff Supervision and Program Leadership Assist with supervising staff and act as a team leader, demonstrating leadership through role modeling and coaching. Promote and embody the organization's philosophy, mission, and values. Lead advocacy efforts on behalf of individuals. Support the achievement of individual goals. Foster teamwork through open communication and shared responsibilities. Provide on-call coverage as needed, including carrying the RD work cell phone during absences. ISP and Care Plan Implementation Implement ISP/Support Plans accurately and consistently. Monitor and maintain individual ISP documentation and data collection. Review data and prepare progress notes regularly. Follow routines and support plans, including behavior and health plans. Train staff on intervention strategies and data collection. Ensure health and safety by accompanying individuals to appointments, administering medications, and supporting healthy diets. Crisis Management Respond effectively to safety hazards and emergencies. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment. Coordinate care and communicate with supervisors during crises. Administrative Duties Safeguard sensitive data. Assist with budgeting, managing individual funds, and documenting expenses. Participate in supervision and staff meetings. Complete financial and performance documentation as required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Adhere to Foundation and Affiliate Policies and Procedures. Maintain required certifications (e.g., medication administration, First Aid & CPR). Complete all training timely. Perform any additional duties as needed. Qualifications

Commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in community participation. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, adequate insurance, and ability to drive. Varied personal interests and community connections. Responsible, conscientious behavior in work, volunteer, or school settings. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Prior direct care experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. MAP certification preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. High school diploma or GED required; college experience or enrollment preferred. Physical Requirements

Ability to drive. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to perform physical restraints with training, if necessary.
