Job Title Senior or Staff Front‑End Engineer (React)
Responsibilities
Build, develop, and maintain customer‑facing React applications across the e‑commerce platform, internal portal, and main website.
Lead development by driving new product features from concept to launch, ensuring high‑quality implementation and user experience.
Design and architect scalable, high‑performance front‑end architectures that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs.
Make technical decisions by evaluating trade‑offs and aligning with business and user needs.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive and intuitive user experiences.
Contribute to enhancing development processes, best practices, data‑driven decisions, and engineering culture.
Requirements
You must reside in one of the following states: AR, CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NV, NY, OK, PA, TX, UT, VT, or WA.
5+ years of professional React experience building exceptional user interfaces with strong grasp of data structures, best practices, scalable patterns, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of user experience and visual design principles.
Experience leading front‑end initiatives, making architectural decisions, bridging gaps between front‑end and existing back‑end systems, and mentoring team members.
Comfort working with Python, Django, and FastAPI; proven track record on Python projects.
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth startup environment with adaptability and problem‑solving skills.
Key strengths: persistence, intelligence, creativity, flexibility, passion, humility, curiosity, and professionalism.
Excellent communication and soft skills, effective participation in discussions.
Bonus Points
Experience with Kubernetes, Argo, and Google Cloud Platform.
