Solutions Architect – Data
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Data to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise‑scale data platforms. This role focuses on building and maintaining cloud‑based data systems that support analytics, AI‑driven solutions, and data governance initiatives.
The architect will play a key role in reviewing existing data infrastructure, planning future‑state architectures, and implementing scalable, secure, and high‑performance data solutions. This position requires strong architectural leadership, hands‑on technical expertise, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and machine learning teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable data lake and data architectures using Databricks and cloud‑native services.
Build metadata‑driven, parameterized ingestion frameworks and multi‑layer data architectures.
Optimize data workloads for performance, scalability, and cost.
Define and enforce enterprise data governance and data quality frameworks.
Design and develop robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Architect AI‑enabled solutions, including RAG workflows and prompt engineering.
Lead cloud migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and technical leadership across teams.
Create reusable components, standardized patterns, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
Hands‑on experience with Databricks.
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
Extensive experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and ADF workflows.
Experience designing data lakes and implementing data governance frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Git‑based development.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
