The Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior is expanding its faculty, residency, internship, and fellowship positions to meet the growing needs for mental health care delivery throughout Georgia.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an assistant or associate professor rank Clinical Psychiatrist located in Augusta, GA. The Clinical Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, assess and diagnose mental health conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans. The psychiatrist will help ensure quality mental health care and contribute to educational and research initiatives within the institution.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Clinical Care

Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with experience working in interdisciplinary teams

Competency in neurostimulation techniques, including TMS and ECT is an advantage

Prior experience in clinical practice or academic medicine is an advantage
