In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Lead product management and development for the “Done Away” service from early stage through launch and ongoing business management.

Analyze complex client requirements and drive solution functionality that may involve multiple technologies.

Understand the economics behind treasury repo sponsorship and clearing, demonstrating strong business acumen.

Craft strategies behind product development and delivery.

Apply market knowledge to integrate regional demands and stay ahead of competitors.

Be directly responsible for product profitability across large, complex, global client portfolios.

Ensure Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other cross‑functional concerns are addressed during product development, enhancement, delivery, strategy, and planning.

Employ a client‑focused, strategic approach to develop business cases for firm offerings through in‑depth analysis of client segments, competitive landscape, and industry environment.

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of product features, market dynamics, and client needs to drive product growth and maximize profitability.

Serve as a firm expert and champion for the product, articulating its strategic importance to the organization.

Create product management roadmaps and establish evaluation criteria and success metrics.

Oversee pricing, promotion, distribution strategies, and competitive differentiators.

Position the product for specific client segments, highlighting key benefits and competitive advantages.

Collaborate with sales and relationship management teams to support sales efforts and close deals as needed.

Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced or graduate degree preferred.

10–12 years of senior‑level experience in repo trading, clearing, or related aspects of institutional financing transactions.

In‑depth knowledge of the FICC clearing industry landscape, client types, and industry utilities.

Experience in product management, operations, or client management preferred.

MBA or CFA preferred but not required.

Knowledge of UST repo trading and clearing preferred.

Understanding of FICC operations data flows and other CCPs (e.g., CME and ICE) is a plus.

Familiarity with SEC clearing regulations preferred.

Understanding of revenue drivers for treasury repo trading and clearing on both buy and sell sides preferred.

Ability to work across IT, operations, other business units, vendors, and clients at all levels.

Benefits & Rewards BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The base salary is expected to be between $127,000 and $273,000 per year at commencement of employment, with additional commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short‐ and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefits.
