Co-Founder / Principal Designer at Bower Studios
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Production Manager to oversee the production of our studio’s signature and custom made‑to‑order pieces. Responsibilities for this role include coordinating with vendors, managing timelines, and ensuring the highest level of quality control throughout the process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about design.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the liaison between the design, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and meet order deadlines
Manage production schedule through prioritizing projects, coordinating vendor orders, planning in‑house fabrication workflows
Organize production timelines using Monday.com and Google Calendar in order to coordinate across design, production, and sales teams
Manage and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of local and international vendors
Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, cost‑effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards
Source raw materials, components, and finished goods, while maintaining accurate inventory and supply records
Assess and improve fabrication processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and product quality
Support lead designers through the development of new designs ensuring fabrication optimization
Maintain and update production documentation in Google Drive to ensure accuracy and up‑to‑date files

Salary range: 65K - 75K based on experience
Half days on Fridays (8:30 am‑12:30 pm) September - June, Summer Fridays (off) July - August
Optional 401k retirement plan and dental/vision insurance coverage after one year of employment
Access to workshop for personal projects after hours and weekends
Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in a production/project management role within design, furniture, or fabrication industries
Proficient in Monday.com, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite
Thorough understanding of materials (wood, metal, glass, etc.) and manufacturing processes
Highly organized with exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, and/or SketchUp
Familiarity with made‑to‑order furniture production
Background in furniture, interior design, architecture, home goods and/or product design or related fields are a plus
