Community Liaison– Client & Caregiver Growth
BrightStar Care of Honolulu is hiring a Community Liaison who combines genuine care for people with the capacity to execute consistently.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. It directly impacts
client acquisition, caregiver pipeline strength, community trust , and the first impression families and partners have of BrightStar. The role requires steady presence, strong follow-through, and the ability to stay responsive and organized over time.
This is not a role you fit in around other priorities. It works best for someone who can fully engage, stay present during the workday, and reliably follow through on commitments.
What Success Looks Like Within your first 6–12 months:
Inquiry calls are handled promptly and professionally, converting into qualified client starts through trust, clarity, and follow-through
Community and referral relationships consistently contribute to new client inquiries
A reliable caregiver pipeline is built through regular, in-person community outreach
Sensi AI is clearly and confidently explained to families and partners, with growing awareness and adoption
Follow-ups are completed, commitments are tracked, and communication loops are closed
Internal teams experience you as proactive, dependable, and easy to work with
This role breaks down quickly if responsiveness slips, follow-through is inconsistent, or community commitments are delayed or missed.
What You Will Do Handle inbound inquiry calls with empathy, clarity, and professionalism, supporting client acquisition and trust-building
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with caregivers, community organizations, and referral partners
Represent BrightStar at community events, job fairs, and outreach activities, typically 2–4 touchpoints per week
Actively attract caregivers through in‑person, relationship‑based engagement
Support client acquisition by building referral relationships and moving inquiry conversations forward through consistent follow‑through
Lead education and promotion of BrightStar’s Sensi AI care technology
Track conversations, commitments, and next steps to ensure nothing falls through
Coordinate closely with recruiting, scheduling, and care teams to align efforts and outcomes
Represent BrightStar Care of Honolulu with warmth, credibility, and high standards
Capacity & Availability Expectations This role requires sustained focus and emotional steadiness. It is best suited for someone who:
Can be fully engaged and responsive during standard business hours
Has flexibility to attend occasional early morning, evening, or weekend community events
Is not regularly pulled away by competing obligations during the workday
Has the energy to balance outward‑facing community work with timely follow‑up and internal coordination
This role tends to work best for someone in a season of life where consistency, availability, and reliability are realistic and sustainable.
Prerequisites for Success 3+ years of experience in a relationship‑driven, client‑facing, community outreach, partnerships, recruiting, or growth‑oriented role
Experience supporting client, customer, or referral‑driven growth through conversations and follow‑through
Proven ability to manage priorities, follow‑through, and communication independently
Comfort handling inbound inquiry calls and initiating outbound outreach
Willingness and ability to be visible and mobile in the community
Comfort learning and explaining technology‑based solutions to non‑technical audiences
Professionalism, sound judgment, and emotional steadiness in a fast‑paced environment
We are intentionally selective for this role. Applicants should be prepared to discuss specific examples of ownership, follow‑through, and relationship building.
This Role Is Not a Fit If You Struggle with consistency or responsiveness
Need frequent reminders to complete follow‑ups
Are juggling multiple major commitments that regularly disrupt your workday
Prefer behind‑the‑scenes or highly routine work
Are uncomfortable being part of client and caregiver growth outcomes
