Work Hours

Full‑time: 80 hours bi‑weekly

Evening shift

Includes weekend and holiday rotations

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field, OR clinical experience and MLT education equivalent to MT certification. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree

American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)

MT Clinical Training

1‑2 years' experience clinical in a related field

Job Overview This position is responsible for performing a full range of laboratory tests, confirming the accuracy of test results, and reporting laboratory findings to the doctors, pathologists, or other physicians. This position may work in any of the major areas of the laboratory: Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry and Fibrinolysis. This position operates and maintains a variety of laboratory instruments, utilizes laboratory computer system in performance of duties, maintains strict adherence to established policies and procedures, and works under the supervision of a general supervisor, but works independently. Direct supervision is not required for specimen processing, test performance or result reporting.
